On December 17, 2022, DUT opened the 2022 Student Science and Technology Exhibition (BKDN TechShow 2022) at the Le Quy Don specialized high school in Danang.<\/p>\n\n\n

The Faculty of Bridge and Road Engineering participated in the exhibition with three products selected from nearly 20 scientific research projects of the students:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A model includes (1) a road pavement structure using steel slag as a reinforcing material; (2) a reduced-scale experimental model to determine the correlation between ultrasonic velocity and the compressive, splitting, flexural strength, and elastic modulus of steel slag concrete; (3) A self-sensing concrete model, (4) a poster on the evaluation of the effectiveness of strengthening and shock resistance of steel-reinforced concrete bridge piers using an external concrete wrapping method, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a result of the exhibition, the Faculty won two awards:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Second Prize for the Idea category for the model of a road pavement structure using steel slag as a reinforcing material;<\/li>
